Tim Readman Planning Services works by a Programme Delivery Method that forms the basis of his Planning Philosophy:

Understand. Understand the project by meeting the team, reading and evaluating the documents and becoming familiar with the project and its critical path at an early stage. Understand the key elements of the job through asking people the right questions. Establish the desired final outcomes.
Think it. Believe it. Establish the work breakdown structure, build the activities, durations and logic of the project network. Establish the critical path from the detail to the global.
Milestone. Establish key and interface milestones for the project.
Own it. Take steps to plan. Create understanding with end-user to own their project.
Do it. Work to do it, record it and chase the key deliverables, key milestones and interface milestones, what-ifs, amendment of logic.
Re-do it. Review new knowledge and re-evaluate for the ultimate goal.
Deliver it. Planning drives the successful and efficient completion of the project.
